Some basic measurements are needed to ensure that you or your loved one can use the Acorn Stairlift safely. It’s very simple to do and all you need is a quality tape measure and a chair.
Start by having the user sit in the chair as upright as possible. This is important because it will make sure that all the measurements are accurate.
Now you are ready to measure.
This should be a measurement from the base of the seat to the top of the user’s head.
This measurement should be taken from the floor to the underside of the user’s knees.
This measurement should be taken from the user’s back to the front of his/her knees.
This measurement should be taken from the user’s back to the front of his/her toes. Make sure the user tucks in his/her toes as far back as they can comfortably.
